Welcome to the Photographic section

The following pages hold information related to the various studies that CARF manages. You will also find tips on stereo capture, information on the correct field definition for the modified 3-standard fields and 7 fields, and tips on some difficulties that you may encounter.

Photographic training and support

CARF has an in-house Photographic Manager who can review the photography procedures with photographers at clinical study sites to ensure that optimal photographic quality is consistently obtained.

CARF can provide feedback and training for photographers and advice on saving and transmission of data files specific to each study.

CARF also assesses images received from submission centres for quality in accordance with the relevant study protocol and can assist with any steps needed to help resolve site-specific issues.

If you have any questions, please contact CARF’s Photographic Manager, Vittorio Silvestri. Further contact details can be found on the Contact page.
