World Sight Day 2019, Belfast

World Sight Day is the most important advocacy and communications event on the eye health calendar. It is a great time to engage with the world at large – a patient’s family, those who seldom get an eye exam and people with diabetes. Building on last year’s success, this year, Queen’s University Belfast has organised a special programme of events to mark this important annual milestone with an even bigger and better programme.

On Thursday 10th October 2019, at Riddel Hall, an international line-up of speakers will share their insights, thoughts and expertise to celebrate this key event.

Clinicians, screener/graders, trainees and researchers with a particular interest in public health and in retinal diseases can use this unique event to reach out to new groups within their work-area, or to highlight support or funding needed to deliver quality eye care services.
